Dr. Bartosz Helfer is an academic researcher with methodological expertise in evidence synthesis, and meta-research. With over a decade of experience, he specializes in pivotal public health issues, currently including infant nutrition and mental health. Bart has made significant strides in the conduct and reporting of clinical trials involving infant formula. His research in mental health focuses on the efficacy and safety of treatments such as psychotherapy or psychopharmacology as well as neurocognitive and emotional aspects of mental health for potential therapeutic interventions.

In the realm of infant nutrition and formula regulation, Dr. Helfer’s research has been published in leading medical journals and provides a new industry standard for the conduct and reporting of clinical trials in this field. He addresses commercial interests and conflicts of interest, establishing his work as a cornerstone for ethical practices and responsible research. He helped scrutinize health and nutrition claims for infant formula, providing a compelling evidence base that is likely to inform regulatory guidelines and public health policy.
